APRIL 2021

The Copper Coast International Film Festival is run by the students of BA Film & TV Swansea at UWTSD.

‘At Auschwitz, tell me, where was God?’

And the answer:

‘Where was man?’

William Styron, Sophie’s Choice

The Copper Coast International Film Festival celebrates its 5th year, among a particularly odd time in humanities story.  We ask you to join us online for Holocaust Memorial Day, and the 1st of March 2021 for more films.  Do you see humanity reflected in the stories we tell?

The terrible events, which unfolded across Europe in the 1930s and 1940s, undoubtedly left scars on both the mental and physical landscapes of the world.  As part of our screenings, we will not forget these events, and believe film can offer a glimpse of the human condition.

The Copper Coast International Film Festival, is located in the heart of Swansea, Wales and housed within UWTSD’s Swansea College of Art.  We are festival that prides itself on promoting the very best storytellers the world of film has to offer.  We believe that the act of telling stories makes us who we are, makes us human.  At CCiFF we believe in the power of story to make sense of the world around us.
